We still have multiple teams in various age groups looking for players and would be happy to set up an individual workout for you!

OPEN TRYOUTS
We will be holding open tryouts on the following dates for the following age groups to fill the last few roster spots on these teams. To RSVP to one of our tryouts please complete our Player Interest Form. If you are unable to attend an open tryout but wish to still tryout for one of our teams please email us to schedule a private tryout.
Open Tryout #1 – Wednesday, July 30
Age Groups – 9u & 13u-18u (Including Prospect Teams)
Open Tryout #2 – Monday, August 4
Age Groups – 13u-18u (Including Prospect Teams)
All Tryouts will take place at The Ripken Experience and begin at 6pm

TRYOUT FAQ's
WHEN ARE TRYOUTS?
Dates will appear above and vary by age group.
WHERE ARE TRYOUTS LOCATED?
Tryouts for our North Teams will be held at The Ripken Experience in Aberdeen, MD. South tryouts will be held at Notre Dame of Maryland University.
WHAT AGE GROUPS WILL YOU BE OFFERING?
We will be offering age groups 12u-18u. However, age group offerings could change.
WHY DON’T I SEE MY AGE GROUP?
The age groups we offer vary year to year. Various factors influence what age groups we offer such as interest level and having a quality coach in place to lead a particular age group. In most cases an age group is not offered because we either don’t have a coach in place at the moment or did not have a team at the previous age during the prior season.
ARE TRYOUTS FOR FALL, SPRING/SUMMER, OR BOTH?
Tryouts are for both fall and spring/summer. Unlike other programs, we do not offer separate tryouts for the fall and spring/summer seasons. We believe in developing a player year round which starts with getting a player into our program at the start of the fall season.
WHAT IF I CAN’T ATTEND THE SCHEDULED TRYOUT DATE?
No worries! We understand there are conflicts and if you are unable to attend your age groups scheduled date, simply send us an email and we will work with you to schedule a private workout or have you attend another date. We want to ensure everyone who wants to try out for our program has an opportunity to do so.
WHAT IF I CAN’T COMMIT TO A FALL SEASON?
While being a part of our fall program will maximize your development, we are also supportive of players taking a break from baseball and focusing on other sports. If this means not being able to participate in our fall program, that is okay and no player will be penalized.
IF YOU HAVE MULTIPLE TEAMS IN AN AGE GROUP, HOW DO I KNOW WHAT TEAM TO TRYOUT FOR?
For age groups with multiple teams, we will place players according to needs of the specific team. We DO NOT have “A” or “B” teams. We strive to make all our teams as competitive as possible.
IF YOU HAVE MULTIPLE DATES LISTED FOR AN AGE GROUP, DO I HAVE TO ATTEND ALL DATES?
No. You only need to attend one tryout date.
WHAT IS ALL INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A NORMAL HIGH SCHOOL AGE GROUP AND YOUR MBC PROSPECT TEAMS?
Our MBC Prospect Teams are geared more towards those individuals with aspirations of playing college baseball. Our normal age groups still offer all the same features of our prospect teams but we wanted to offer other options for those kids who just want to play competitive baseball. There’s always an opportunity to play on one of our prospect teams even if you are on a regular HS team.
