TRYOUT REGISTRATION
2024 Fall & 2025 Spring/Summer Tryout Dates for our North teams have been announced.
Unlike other programs, we do not hold separate tryouts for the fall and spring/summer seasons. We believe in developing players year round and not giving up on kids after just a few months. We want players to join our program for the long haul and not the short term.
If you are unable to attend one of our tryouts, please contact us to arrange a private workout.

WHEN ARE TRYOUTS?
Dates appear above and vary by age group. All tryouts begin at 6:00pm
WHERE ARE TRYOUTS LOCATED?
Tryouts for our North teams will take place at The Ripken Experience in Aberdeen, MD
Tryout location for our South teams are still TBD
WHAT AGE GROUPS WILL YOU BE OFFERING?
We will be offering teams for age groups 9u-17/18u
ARE TRYOUTS FOR FALL, SPRING/SUMMER, OR BOTH?
Tryouts are for both fall and spring/summer. Unlike other programs, we do not offer separate tryouts for the fall and spring/summer seasons. We believe in developing a player year round.
WHAT IF I CAN’T COMMIT TO A FALL SEASON?
While being a part of our fall program will maximize your development, we are also supportive of players taking a break from baseball and focusing on other sports. If this means not being able to participate in our fall program, that is okay and no player will be penalized.
IF YOU HAVE MULTIPLE TEAMS IN AN AGE GROUP, HOW DO I KNOW WHAT TEAM TO TRYOUT FOR?
For age groups with multiple teams, we will place players according to needs of the specific team. We DO NOT have “A” or “B” teams. We strive to make all our teams as competitive as possible.
IF YOU HAVE MULTIPLE DATES LISTED FOR AN AGE GROUP, DO I HAVE TO ATTEND ALL DATES?
NO. You only need to attend one tryout date.
WHAT IF I CAN’T MAKE THE SCHEDULED TRYOUT DATE?
No problem! Reach out to us at marylandbaseballclub@gmail.com and we will work with you to schedule an alternate workout date.
WHAT IS THE COST TO TRYOUT?
Tryouts are completely FREE!
